L x light alone chp 3

Bright rays entered the room through a small window. Light stretched as he awoke and remembered what happened last night. He looked around for his companion. L was already awake and was making tea. "Good morning light-kun." L said acknowledging lights awakening. "Hey..." Light said as he scratched his head.  Light looked at his watch to see that it was only 6:00 am.
Light got up and walked up to L. Light slightly smiled and hugged the raven detective. L simply hugged him back. They both smiled. Light was thinking about how this could all link to the Kira case. (Wait, he trusts me now. And he probably doesn't think I'm kira anymore... Oh L...) light thought to himself pretty much smirking. As L thought too, (Hm... Light-kun, this must be trap. Another kira like thing about you.) L thought to himself, wishing it wasn't true. They stopped their embrace smiling and light went to get ready for the morning.  After a few minutes, the rest of the task force showed up and went along discussing the Kira case. Neither L or light talked about last night. They shared some glances and smiled at each other. But of course they had to wait to do anything.
"So, are their any other suspects?" Matsuda asked randomly. L just turned to him and told him a few of them but didn't say light's name. (It worked... He trusts me now...) light thought as L simply didn't want to believe that light was kira... But in his heart he knew that couldn't be true.
